There is currently a vacancy for the clerk to the board of Governors.
CLERK TO GOVERNORS
Pay Scale: E but dependent on experience
Estimated: 86 hours at an hourly rate of £13.91 or £15.59 to include holiday pay.
Start date: academic year 2024-2025
Bletchingdon School is looking to appoint a Clerk to Governors to support our active and engaged Governing Board. The Governors work hard to support the very best school leadership and education for our children. Annually we run efficient and effective five full governor meetings and one other committee meeting which meet four times so 9 meetings in all.
The successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively and efficiently with the governors and attend meetings. They will provide appropriate administrative and organisational support alongside guidance to ensure the board works with legal compliance. They will also provide advice on procedural matters.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS criminal record check and online searches will be carried out in line with KCSIE 2024.
