Bletchingdon Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Bletchingdon School has strong links with parents and a strong PTA who plan for a variety of functions throughout the year, fulfilling both a social and fundraising role.
Overall fundraising events by the Bletchingdon PTA in the school year 2016/17 generated a profit of £1,610.60.
During this financial year, the PTA has purchased the following for the school (totalling £722.79):
Garden Supplies - £121.96
Books for Library - £200.83
Purple Mash Computer Subscription - £400.00
Sensory Garden Donation – ongoing, to be located within school grounds
Running costs of £63.00 were incurred by the PTA association membership annual Subscription.
Including the bank balance carried over from the last financial year, the PTA ends the year with a healthy bank balance of £4,846.35.
I also want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for all the support the PTA receives from parents, teachers and the wider community. Without your support we wouldn't be able to hold these great events and raise money for the school children. Mrs Hatton.
2017 - 2018 Fundraising Dates
We have already planned a quiz (October 14th) and a pamper evening (November 18th) for the Autumn term and we also looking for anyone interested in undertaking a sporting challenge to help raise money for school and charity.
Some initial ideas are Thames walk, Three Peaks Challenge, Islip bike ride, 10k/half marathon.... No experience or ability required.
