The coach left Kilvrough at 3pm. I understand that they have had a fabulous time ... are quite exhausted ... but happy.
Have a good weekend.
All children slept well again - I think packing their things up yesterday evening just about finished some of them off! They have eaten a hearty breakfast and are now on their final activity.
All the children were asleep by 9.30 last night and many did not wake until gone 7.00am! One group had a slight hiccup with a broken down mini bus but, once sorted, had a fantastic day climbing. EVERYONE had a go - even those who were scared. Again, Miss Follen and Miss Shuff were very proud of them.
Many children slept until 7am this morning with most waking up feeling a little achy after all the canoeing yesterday. Today they are going caving...
Nothing like a teacher selfie - looks like Miss Shuff and Miss Follen are having fun!!
Don't forget your helmets.........
I understand from Miss Follen and Miss Shuff that they all successfully escaped the caves, although Miss Shuff was apparently posted through 'the letter box' by the children. A few tears were shed but fears were conquered and lots of superb team work was seen. Miss Follen and Miss Shuff are VERY proud of them all.
Lunch was eaten before the caving and hot chocolate drunk after.
Miss Follen and Miss Shuff report that all have slept and that most children were asleep by 11pm. I am told that Miss Follen sung a lullaby but I am unsure as to whether that was to the children or to Miss Shuff!!
The children are now off to breakfast.
Preparing for room inspection.....
Suited, booted and raring to go ......
On our way now .............. are we nearly there?
The children have had a "fantastic day of canoeing with only one member of Miss Shuff's group falling in the canal. There was lots of good team work but some tired arms."
The coach arrived at around 12.30, having stopped at the service station just after the bridge. Arrival meant lugging bags up stairs, making (or attempting to make) beds and then lunch. After lunch our children split into two groups and, having been suited and booted, they embarked on some team building activities.
5.16pm - Miss Follen has just messaged to say that the children have had a really good afternoon, are showered and getting ready for tea.
