Links with the Community

Children contribute articles to the 'Village News' which is a local magazine distributed throughout Bletchingdon.

The school is involved with the village in many ways.  Pancake Day Races, an Easter Eggstravaganza, May Queen Crowning and processions, Maypole Dancing, Harvest Festival in church, School Christmas productions -to name a few. Towards the end of the Christmas term the children sing to the Thursday Club (senior citizens club.)

Some children play in Bletchingdon Silver band as well as belong to Scouts, Brownies and local Sports Clubs.

Nasio Trust

Stationary Bags

Thank you so very much for your kind donations of pens, pencils, notepads, rubbers, pencil sharpeners and rulers. Josh presented these to the children on his recent visit 17th October - 1st November. The children sang their thanks.

Our next project is to raise money to buy D-Lights with the aim of supporting the Trust in their endeavours to provide lighting for each home.

Update August 2015

Fundraising in June 2015 has meant that we have handed a cheque for £150 to the Nasio Trust for the purchase of D-Lights. We also passed over further outdoor coats, footwear and t-shirts which the team will be taking with them in October when they hope to open their new medical centre.
