To cater for the wide age range of pupils in a small school we constantly evaluate where and how teachers can best be deployed.
The Present Class Organisation is:
Foundation Stage pupils (3 to 5 year olds) work in groups and as a class in well-equipped workshops within
their own outdoor learning area. Their teacher Mrs. Seymour is supported by Miss. Hughes.
Yr 1 and 2 Infants (5 to 7 year olds) work in groups and as a class in well equipped Infant Learning areas with their class teacher Miss. Shuff. They are supported by Mrs. O'Brien and Mrs. T Walker.
Yr 3 and 4 Lower Junior children work with Miss. Follen and are supported by Mrs. Jones and Mrs. T Walker.
Yr 5 and 6 Upper Junior children work with Mrs. C Walker and are supported by Mrs. Butler and Mrs Hurst. Instrumental music lessons are led weekly by a member of the music sevice in Year 5 / 6.
Mrs. Kelly leads science across the school and covers our teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.
